Unique opportunity has opened for drug discovery scientist professionals to join our client who is an international specialty care pharma with the aim to develop new medical solutions to meet patient needs on the rare disease field. The position is Budapest/Hungary based.

The CSO will be responsible for the pharmacology related activities of the company:
  • Setting the startegy for preclinical studiesand activities by evaluating opportunities on the market (evaluation ofpossible targets for drug molecules, etc.)
  • Preclinical program management tasks: design pharmacokinetic studies, monitor animal disease models for preclinical programs, ensure that preclinical pharmacology data complies with FDA requirements
  • Share pharmacology data to meet regulatory requirements
  • Collaborate with Key Opinion Leaders, researches and external partners during the studies
  • Search, select and manage CROs for the outsourced experiments
Requirements:
  • Preferably degree in Medicine or Biology or any Life Sciences discipline
  • PhD in Pharmacology
  • Pharmaceutical industry experience and/or strong academic background (at least 10-15 years)
  • Ability to shape and drive strategies and innovative solutions
  • Good communicator and collaborator both with internal and external teams
  • Team leading experience is a plus
  • Fluency in English
