Carbyne has an exclusive assignment to search & select a Country Medical Director for a global, patient-dedicated biopharma company focused on development and commercialization of high-quality specialty medicines in several therapeutic areas.

The Country Medical Director will oversee Medical Affairs, DRA, Pharmacovigilance and Quality functions and play a key role in change management as the company is in transformation mode.

Responsibilities:

  • Define and implement the medical affairs strategy in Hungary for the entire product portfolio including marketed products and investigational products in the pipeline
  • Lead, motivate and develop Medical Advisors and Medical Science Liaisons
  • Supervise Medical, Regulatory, Quality and Drug Safety functional areas and ensure business partnering mindset across all verticals
  • Ensure adherence with highest ethical standards in the local affiliate
  • Participate as an active and integral member of the country management team
  • Drive and support organizational development initiatives from scientific affairs perspective
  • In close collaboration with the Market Access department (and other stakeholders) contribute to the development of drug reimbursement applications and strategies
  • Partner effectively with internal and external stakeholders ensure most efficient patient access to cutting-edge therapies
  • Participate in scientific events, national and international congresses
Requirements:
  • University degree in Medicine or Pharmaceutical sciences
  • Proven track record in ethical pharmaceutical industry in medical affairs arena
  • Excellent people management skills
  • Change management skills, ability to drive organisational change
  • Fluent Hungarian and English
