We are searching an experienced Sales Manager to join our biotech start-up partner in Hungary. The company has been developing a unique in-vitro platform (hardware&software) which supports pharma companies, CROs, drug development labs and the academia in their pharmaceutical drug development processes.

This is a very exciting opportunity for a sales professional who likes to create new structures and learn new & innovative technologies that will advance the research processes on global level.

As their first commercial professional your responsibilities will include:
  • Establishing the company's sales department: structure andprocesses
  • Launching a business development strategy focusing on EU and US (EU: Germany, Benelux countires, Austria, Switzerland)
  • Attending field meetings and conducting product demos for clients
  • Taking care of pricing, tendering and negotiation processes
  • Participating on regional and global conferences
  • Actively networking among scientific professionals
  • Acting as a trusted advisor for the internal team, providing feedback from the market
You are the ideal candidate with:
  • Degree in Life Sciences preferably in Biology (PhD is a big plus)
  • Sales/business development experience in the biotech segment preferably on regional/global level
  • Willingness to travel approx. 30-50% of your working time (second half of the year is more busy)
  • A collaborator and creative attitude, great communication skills
  • Fluent English (German knowledge is an advantage)
