On behalf of our growing partner—a multinational company specializing in plasma-derived medicines—we are seeking a Medical Director to join their local affiliate.
As an active member of the Local Management Team, the Medical Director will be responsible for the full-scale medical oversight of the entire Hungarian operation, ensuring alignment with corporate strategy while upholding the company's values. 
We are seeking a qualified physician with a medical degree and an active, valid license to practice medicine.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Overseeing the medical operations of plasma donation centers, ensuring compliance with professional standards.
  • Participating in the selection and onboarding of medical staff, including lead physicians, donor examiners, and healthcare personnel.
  • Providing medical oversight for contracts relevant to professional healthcare operations (excluding employment contracts).
  • Supervising and approving medical aspects of marketing activities.
  • Ensuring the centers operate in compliance with both national and international regulations.
  • Managing, coordinating, and developing the medical teams across all centers.
  • Conducting trainings and professional development programs for all center employees.
  • Organizing and leading medical reviews, professional discussions, and operational optimizations among centers.
  • Monitoring donor care and donor exclusion processes from a medical perspective.
  • Overseeing the implementation of regulatory changes related to transfusion medicine and pharmaceuticals.
  • Representing the company in official communications with regulatory authorities and professional forums.
  • Supervising and approving medical modifications in the donor and production management system.
  • Supporting self-audits, external inspections, and authority audits.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including marketing, to ensure the company's optimal and compliant operations.

Requirements:

  • Medical degree (preferred specialization: Internal Medicine, Transfusion Medicine, Hematology, or Emergency Medicine).
  • Valid license to practice medicine
  • Demonstrated leadership experience in a medical setting.
  • Proven experience working in a competitive, multinational environment
  • Fluency in Hungarian & English (both written and spoken).
  • Strong computer literacy and ability to work with digital medical systems.
