Scientists are on an endless quest to discover or create the strongest, most durable substance possible. In 2016 a team of Austrian researchers has finally worked out a way to stabilise what they are calling the strongest of all known materials, an exotic form of carbon calledcarbyne.
It has enormous potential in manufacturing,
product design, and medical technology.

How we help others
We are committed to leave an impact on our society and environment. You can follow here our recent charity activities.
2021 was the globe’s second year into the COVID-19 pandemic. After the first year we all understood that these new circumstances have affected everyone from the little ones to the elderly people. We therefore decided to support Vadaskert Alapitvany’s: an outstanding institution which has already provided mental health support for over 50 000 children in Hungary.
We still believe in traditions therefore this year we have again decided to donate to the Hungarian Child Ambulance Foundation thus supporting them in the modernization of their respiratory device for their emergency cars.
In the past 15 years the Foundation has assisted over 32 000 incidents and conducted more than 37 000 preventive training to the parents. Besides their day-to-day activity nowadays the organization also supports adult COVID patients.
To continue our festive tradition in 2019 we supported the Hungarian Child Ambulance Foundation (http://www.mgya.org/), contributing to their plan to acquire a new respiratory device for their emergency cars.
The Hungarian Child Ambulance Foundation was founded in 2005 by pediatrician healthcare professionals who dedicate their spare time on advancing the emergency child care system in Hungary. By 2018 the Foundation has assisted over 27 000 incidents and given 29 000 preventive trainings to the public.
This year we have continued our tradition and we have decided to support the daily charity work of “Amigos for Children”.
“The Amigos” is a charity organization established and operated by university students whose aim is to motivate the recovery of chronically ill children through teaching languages. The donation offered by Carbyne helps them out with their tools (such as branded exercise books and folders) which they provide to their students for the sessions.
We have decided to donate to the patient’s of Heim Pal Children’s Hospital in Budapest. We prepared special gifts to those who experience difficulties throughout the holiday season. Based on the recommendation from the hospital our gift consists of board games and tools for creative drawing. We are hoping to aid their recovery and making their stay more pleasant.
