On behalf of a globally recognized research organization, we are seeking an experienced leader to drive and coordinate large-scale, multi-continent research initiatives. This role will be instrumental in launching new scientific programs and representing the organization in a highly complex, international environment, engaging with top-tier stakeholders including industry leaders, academic institutions, and government decision-makers.

Responsibilities:

Strategic and Organizational Leadership

  • Establish and lead a newly launched, high-impact scientific program
  • Translate the overarching scientific vision into a clear, actionable 10-year strategic and operational roadmap
  • Implement effective governance frameworks across countries, research partners, and operational units
  • Act as a senior representative of the organization towards government bodies, academia, healthcare systems, and industry stakeholders
  • Build, scale, and lead high-performing cross-functional teams

Global Program Execution

  • Develop and oversee an international network of local centers and strategic partners
  • Manage partner onboarding, contractual agreements, and cross-border collaboration models
  • Ensure alignment between central and local infrastructures, including clinical sites, biobanks, and data platforms

Program Delivery and Operations

  • Lead the implementation of a harmonized, multi-country longitudinal research model, including baseline and recurring follow-up phases
  • Drive operational excellence across recruitment, sample handling, data collection, quality assurance, and audit processes
  • Oversee the integration of molecular phenotyping workflows and ensure secure, compliant data operations

Commercialization, Funding, and Sustainability

  • Design and implement sustainable funding and business models, including public-private partnerships, grants, and institutional collaborations
  • Lead commercialization strategy development with transparent and equitable value-sharing frameworks
  • Strengthen organizational capabilities to support long-term scalability and global impact

Requirements:

  • Degree in Medicine, Pharmacy, or a related field
  • Fluent English with strong negotiation skills at senior stakeholder level
  • Proven experience managing multi-country clinical research programs
  • Minimum 5 years of leadership experience in areas such as healthcare innovation, clinical research, biotech/medtech, diagnostics, health-tech, or large-scale data-driven health initiatives
  • Demonstrated ability to build organizations, lead high-performing teams, and deliver complex programs at scale
  • Strong background in governance, compliance, risk management, and operational execution
  • Experience engaging with senior external stakeholders including government, academia, healthcare systems, funders, and investors
  • Track record in longitudinal cohort studies, molecular/omics platforms is a strong advantage
  • Familiarity with biobanking and end-to-end sample and data lifecycle management
  • Experience in structuring cross-institutional collaborations, IP frameworks, or consortium-based models is preferred
