On behalf of our international pharmaceutical partner, we are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to join their global biotech team. Our partner is a well-established pharmaceutical company with a strong international presence and a long-standing focus on innovation, research and development. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying and executing global business development opportunities and supporting the expansion of the company’s biotech portfolio through licensing, co-development and strategic collaborations.

 

Key Tasks:

  • Manage and coordinate licensing, co-development and strategic alliance transactions from initial outreach to deal execution
  • Identify relevant in-licensing opportunities aligned with the company’s biotechnology portfolio and strategic priorities
  • Identify potential co-development and out-licensing partners, with a focus on key global markets such as the United States and Japan
  • Participate in international business development partnering meetings and conferences to build and maintain a strong industry network
  • Support post-deal alliance management, ensuring alignment with partners and monitoring development and commercial progress against agreed targets
  • Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders including R&D, Legal, Finance, IP, Regulatory and Project Management teams.
 

Key Requirements:

  • Master’s degree or higher, preferably in Life Sciences
  • 5+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry
  • Prior business development experience in pharma/biotech sector
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills across different seniority levels
  • Ability to manage complex projects and work across multiple functions
  • Proactive, results-oriented and resilient personality
  • Fluency in English and Hungarian, both written and spoken
