We are looking for an Area Manager for our innovative original pharmaceutical partner company. This role will lead a sales team responsible for the management of the company's innovative blockbuster product, driving the highest possible business growth. The role involves developing and coaching the team while collaborating closely with all other commercial functions.


Responsibilities:
  • Lead, coach, and develop the sales team to ensure high performance and professional growth, including mentoring future leaders.

  • Drive significant business growth and achieve the highest possible sales results for the blockbuster product.

  • Ensure smooth, efficient workflow for the sales representatives, resolving operational roadblocks and making quick decisions.

  • Set clear, business-aligned SMART goals for the team and provide regular, constructive performance feedback.

  • Allocate all necessary resources, including field investments and personnel, to meet goals and maintain workflow.

  • Ensure the team effectively utilizes the Customer Engagement Model and all promotional materials to meet business objectives.

  • Manage the inventory, distribution, and compliant usage of all tools, promotional materials, and product samples.

  • Actively participate in the leadership team and collaborate with co-departments to foster strong working relationships.

  • Ensure full compliance with all corporate rules, policies, and ethical expectations across the team.

  • Maintain clear and timely communication of commercial plans and execution status to both the sales team and upper management.

  • Participate in the recruitment and selection process for new sales representatives.
     

Requirements:
  • University Degree
  • Minimum of 5 years of sales and/or marketing experience

  • Minimum of 3 years of people leadership experience

  • Prior experience within the pharmaceutical industry

  • Valid Type "B" driving license

  • Proven skills in:

    • Coaching and Performance Management

    • Advanced Sales and Leadership skills

    • Strong Planning, Organization, and Communication skills

    • Commitment to Compliance
