Representing our multinational biopharmaceutical manufacturing partner recognized worldwide, we are actively seeking an EHS professional to join their expanding facility in Hungary. In close collaboration with quality assurance, manufacturing and technical departments, ​​​​this position will assume responsibility for controlling and developing the site's EHS roadmap. 


Your key responsibilities:
  • EHS Policy and Roadmap

Ensure the site adheres to the EHS roadmap and corporate standards, maintaining a safe working environment. Conduct internal audits, assist in revising and validating SOPs, and provide regular feedback to management. Support the factory leader in deploying the EHS strategy and enhancing performance. 

  • Regulatory Compliance

Lead EHS regulatory inspections, ensuring readiness. Regularly review regulations against site activities, maintain relationships with agencies, and ensure SOPs are compliant and up-to-date. 

  • Management

Lead by example, fostering a safety-first mindset. Oversee the completion of all site training, including EHS-specific training. Support the implementation of corrective actions and best practices, and participate in key meetings.

  • Safety Management

Investigate and summarize injury incidents, ensuring timely closure with root cause analysis and CAPA plans. Monitor injury trends, lead initiatives to reduce incidents, and coordinate medical care for employees. Ensure accurate KPI reporting and update safety measures on the shop floor.

  • Environmental Management

Investigate environmental incidents, ensuring thorough reporting and closure of issues with CAPA plans. Keep SOPs and safety visuals up-to-date on the shop floor.

  • Budgeting and Control

Suggest cost-saving measures, assist in budget creation, and analyze/report variances. Support CapEx projects with EHS inputs.

  • Process Optimization

Drive continuous improvement within departments, allocate resources for initiatives, and support cross-sectional improvements. Promote a culture of continuous improvement.



Basic requirements to apply for this role:

  • University degree in Fire Safety.
  • Minimum 4  years of experience in Fire Safety field in industrial manufacturing sites.
  • Advanced English knowledge.
