On behalf of our pharmaceutical client, a leading international company, we are seeking a highly analytical and strategically minded Controlling Business Partner specializing in General & Administrative (G&A) functions.

In this role, you will act as a key financial co-pilot for corporate support functions (Legal, Finance, Executive Office, etc.), translating operational goals into financial strategies and providing the management team with the insights needed to drive business performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Financial Control: End-to-end financial control, oversight, and governance of all G&A cost categories.
  • Strategic Business Partnering: Understand strategic and operational business objectives and translate them into actionable financial targets.
  • FP&A & Budgeting: Support local financial planning processes and ensure seamless alignment with the global corporate financial planning cycle.
  • Functional Support: Analyze and support the financial operations of the Legal, Finance, CEO office, and other support departments.
  • Performance Management: Track the achievement of financial targets, perform variance analyses, and provide meaningful business interpretations of the data.
  • Executive Reporting: Craft compelling financial narratives and prepare high-quality presentations for executive leadership.
  • Systems & Innovation: Utilize corporate financial systems confidently and actively participate in their continuous optimization and development.
  • Project Management: Represent the Controlling function as a key stakeholder in cross-functional strategic company projects.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Education: Higher education degree specialized in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in controlling or corporate finance; experience within a multinational/global corporate environment is highly preferred.
  • Language Skills: Confident, fluent business English (both written and spoken).
  • Technical Skills: Solid knowledge of financial and accounting principles, with hands-on experience using corporate financial systems (e.g., ERPs like SAP/Oracle, or advanced planning tools) being a distinct advantage.
  • Business Partnering & Projects: Strong analytical mindset and a strategic financial approach, with prior experience in a true Business Partnering role or high-level strategic projects considered a strong plus.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent communication and presentation skills (ability to translate data into management narratives), a global mindset, and a highly collaborative, open personality.
