We are seeking an experienced HSE Manager (Health, Safety & Environment) professional to take a key leadership role at a well-established pharmaceutical manufacturing site.
Key responsibilities:

Lead and develop an Occupational Health&Safety (Safety and Security) focused team of 6 professionals within the site’s HSE function.

Work in close cooperation with a broader HSSE (Health, Safety, Security, Environment) group and report directly to the site-level HSSE lead.
-
Oversee all standard occupational health and safety activities, ensuring effective implementation and continuous improvement.
-
Serve as the primary HSE contact for internal stakeholders, external partners, and regulatory authorities.
-
Ensure compliance with both internal standards and external legal requirements.
-
Prepare and submit reports to relevant public bodies.
-
Apply risk assessment and analysis techniques to identify and mitigate hazards.
-
Collaborate with technical and operational teams across the site.
-
Participate actively in internal and external audits.
What you will need to succeed:

Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Health & Safety leadership role (with preferably Occupational safety focus)
-
Relevant qualification in Occupational Safety.
-
Proven background working in a manufacturing or production-oriented environment.
-
Demonstrated project management skills.
-
Fluency in English (written and spoken).
-
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and teamwork abilities.
-
Proactive, hands-on, and solutions-oriented approach.
Desirable but not required:

Degree in chemical engineering, chemistry, or pharmacy.
-
Fire safety certification (basic or advanced).

Familiarity with chemical manufacturing or technology processes.
