On behalf of our client, a leading manufacturing campus, we are seeking a dynamic Industrial Financial Controller. This role is a strategic partnership position where you will move beyond the numbers to influence production performance and site-wide efficiency.

The Role:

Reporting directly to the Campus Industrial Controller, you will serve as the dedicated financial partner for two specific production activities. Your mission is to bridge the gap between financial data and operational reality, providing the insights necessary for site leaders to succeed.

Responsibilities

  • Performance Partnership: Collaborate closely with Activity Managers to review operational performance, identify variances, and co-develop corrective action plans.
  • Forecasting & Budgeting: Take an active role in the month-end closing process, financial estimates, and the construction of annual budgets.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Act as a central point of contact for Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Purchasing, and HR to ensure financial alignment across the site.
  • Process Optimization: Propose and implement improvements to controlling tools and workflows, establishing robust controls to ensure 100% data reliability.
  • Strategic Analysis: Conduct ad hoc financial modeling to support cost-saving initiatives, calculate standard costs for process changes, or evaluate the ROI of internalization projects.

Your background

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
  • Experience: 3 to 5 years of professional experience in financial controlling, with a strong preference for backgrounds in industrial or manufacturing environments.
  • Technical Skills: * Advanced mastery of Excel (complex formulas, modeling).
    • Experience with JD Edwards (JDE) or similar ERP systems is highly valued.
  • Languages: Fluency in English is mandatory.
  • Soft Skills: A proactive mindset suited for a fast-paced environment, high integrity, and a natural curiosity to understand the "why" behind the numbers.
