Responsibilities

As a Key Account Specialist, you will be responsible for market growth, partner education, and strategic relationship management within your assigned territory. Your core duties will include:

  • Sales & Strategic Planning: Conduct market research to prepare short- and long-term sales plans. Strategically plan, negotiate, and conclude business contracts and cooperation terms in alignment with marketing goals.
  • Account & Partner Management: Expand business relationships, acquire new customers, and maintain deep contact with distribution partners, suppliers, regional management, and internal controlling departments.
  • KOL & Stakeholder Engagement: Establish and nurture relationships with medical professional representatives, Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), hospital decision-makers, and relevant authorities.
  • Product Installation & Training: Handle the hands-on installation of medical equipment, deliver product presentations, and conduct comprehensive training sessions for medical personnel and distribution partners.
  • Marketing & Product Support: Coordinate the use of promotional materials in compliance with local legislation. Design professional brochures and advertisements, proofread user guides, and organize educational activities alongside the marketing team.
  • Reporting & Administration: Maintain the product price list, answer technical product inquiries, and ensure regular, accurate reporting of all business activities within the CRM system.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must meet the following functional, educational, and soft skill benchmarks:

Experience & Education:

  • Education: University or College degree in Economics, Technology/Engineering, or the Healthcare sector.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of proven experience in a sales position, specifically within medical equipment sales.
  • Advantage: Prior experience with hospital management-level negotiations or public procurement processes is highly valued.

Functional Competencies:

  • Language: Minimum B2 level English proficiency (written and spoken).
  • Tech Skills: Good working knowledge of MS Office suite and experience utilizing CRM systems.
  • Mobility: Valid driving license and willingness to travel within Budapest and Western Hungary.
