​​​​​​We are exclusively partnering with a dynamic, transformation-driven manufacturing organization to identify a seasoned Production Director to lead the site.
This role is a key member of the site leadership team, playing a critical part in driving operational excellence, leading organizational transformation and delivering on strategic objectives. It presents an exciting opportunity for a leader who thrives in complex environments and is motivated to shape and elevate performance during periods of change.


Responsibilities:

  • Lead and transform the manufacturing organization, building a strong performance and accountability culture
  • Implement robust management systems ensuring clear visibility of operational and financial performance, enabling objective, data-driven decisions
  • Drive strict cost control, optimizing the balance between volume, cost, headcount, and efficiency improvements
  • Own the manufacturing budget and actively contribute to forecasting and strategic planning
  • Identify and eliminate inefficiencies and duplication, driving continuous improvement and innovation
  • Optimize production footprint and maximize output from existing technologies
  • Lead value stream initiatives, tech transfers, and the implementation of Operational Excellence tools
  • Bring an external perspective, challenge the status quo and introduce best practices
  • Lead, develop and motivate a high-performing team through a period of transformation
Requirements:
  • University degree, preferably in Life Sciences, Engineering or Economics
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in pharmaceutical, chemical or food & beverage manufacturing environments as Production Manager, Plant Manager, Quality Manager, MSAT or OPEX Manager, etc.
  • Proven track record in progressive operational leadership roles within complex manufacturing settings
  • Strong understanding of aseptic manufacturing processes
  • Solid knowledge of tank-based technologies, including awareness of common operational challenges and risks
  • Demonstrated capability to lead and execute organizational transformation initiatives
  • Transparent, empowering leadership style with the ability to build trust and accountability
  • Proactive, hands-on approach with a strong drive for results and continuous improvement
